Dr. Jan Komura

Dr. Komura is the daughter of local orthodontist, Dr. Robert Komura and his wife, Lucy (known by many as “Skip”), a kindergarten teacher. Raised right here in Ojai, Dr Komura attended local schools and graduated from Nordhoff HS. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Advertising from the University of Washington, and worked in marketing for several years in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Komura earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1997. After working in Santa Maria for several years, Dr. Komura returned home to Ojai in 2002, where she was honored to join the practice of Drs. Robert Carson and Wyatt Harris. This enduring practice, now known as Restore Dental Group, specializes in comprehensive restorative dental treatment and has been extant for over 100 years.

Dr. Komura is married to Dr. Jonathan Wong, a periodontist in private practice in Ventura. They have two children, a miniature schnauzer, and they live here in Ojai.
